OUR WEATHER & EMERGENCY CLOSING POLICY
In the event there is a need for an Emergency Closing due to snow, road conditions or another type of emergency, you will receive a phone call from one of your child's teachers to make you aware of when and why we will be closed. Please be aware of the weather conditions and be ready to receive this call, pick up your phone messages and/or listen for our KYW Radio SCHOOL CLOSING #1215 to alert you of such a closing.

The Children's Ark has not closed often for emergencies or inclement weather. But, if we feel it will be a danger to our families and staff to venture out on treacherous roads or in potentially dangerous circumstances, we will close. If an emergency occurs during the the course of the day, we will attempt to reach you at your place of employment or on your cell phone, so please make sure all of your information is up-to-date in your child's file. If you do have a cell phone, it might be the best way for us to contact you and it should be added to your Emergency Contact Information.
